The world-building felt detailed but accessible for middle-grade readers. I'm curious whether it was inspired by classic fantasy or developed specifically for this story.

The story spends a good amount of time on the characters' training and growth, but I wondered if that might feel slow for some young readers. Was that intentional to build suspense or character depth?
