Write Your Novel From the Middle

The concept of writing from the middle feels so different from traditional methods. I'm curious whether this approach was born out of personal experience or a specific writing challenge.

I loved the idea but wonder if it made some aspects of story-building more intuitive or more complicated. Has anyone else tried this and noticed a difference?
