The moral ambiguity added depth to the story, but I wonder what influenced that choice. Did it evolve during writing or was it planned from the start?

The story never really slowed down, which kept me hooked, but I was curious if the author aimed for a constant adrenaline rush or if there were moments they intentionally held back.

The detailed descriptions made the locations almost characters themselves. I wonder how much research went into creating such an authentic atmosphere.
