The atmospheric Gothic setting really pulled me in, but I wonder if the author drew from real places or crafted it entirely from imagination.

The way the narratives overlapped created a sense of dread, but also made me question how much the past truly influences the present.

It seemed deliberate to heighten suspense, but I’m curious whether others found it engaging or a bit drawn out.
