Shadow Lover

The tension between the characters was so sharp from the start that I wondered if that chemistry could ever turn into genuine trust. Did others feel the same or was it just me feeling uneasy about how quickly things heated up?

The story seamlessly intertwined romance and suspense, but I wonder if that was planned from the beginning or if the mystery was added to heighten the stakes as the story developed.

The atmospheric backdrop really added to the mood of the story. I'm curious whether Anne Stuart based it on a real location or crafted it purely from imagination.
