The detailed descriptions of their work added depth to the fantasy setting. I'm curious what inspired the author to focus so much on the craft and its significance in the story.

The action was intense at times but then seemed to pause for world-building or character development. Was that intentional to deepen the lore?

Some characters' choices seem driven by personal pride or tradition. Did that make their actions more relatable or did it feel a bit predictable?
