The way trust was built and broken kept me on the edge of my seat. I wonder how much of that was planned versus spontaneous in the story.

The atmosphere really felt authentic, but I'm curious whether the author based it on a real place or created it from imagination.

The story was so suspenseful at the start and end, but I felt the middle dragged a little. Was that intentional to build suspense or just how it unfolded?
