The fight scenes felt so authentic and intense, but I wondered how much of that was planned versus natural storytelling. Did the author have experience with MMA?

Seeing two characters build trust over time added depth, but I was curious if the author intended this to be the main emotional core or if it just developed organically.

It’s a fresh environment for romance, and I wonder if the author spent time in gyms or did research to create such an authentic atmosphere.
