The book beautifully captures the intensity and confusion of teenage years. Did anyone else feel like they were reliving their own adolescence through these pages?

I’m curious whether the Norwegian backdrop played a role in shaping the characters’ experiences or if it was more of a personal choice by the author.

The portrayal of family relationships felt raw and authentic, but I also wondered how much of it was drawn from personal experience or observation.
