The way the shapeshifter society is crafted feels so vivid and unique. I'm curious whether the author drew from myth, personal imagination, or other sources.

The tension around trust and concealment made every interaction tense. It made me wonder how much of their vulnerability was driven by fear versus love.

The mix kept the story exciting but also emotionally engaging. I'm interested in how that balance was achieved during writing.
