Dragon of Ash & Stars

Using a first-person narrative from a night dragon's perspective made the story feel more intimate and unique. I'm curious whether this was a spontaneous idea or part of a larger plan.

The details about the dragon's environment and interactions made the fantasy setting incredibly immersive. Were these inspired by real places or entirely imagined?

The lighthearted tone kept me engaged, but I wondered if that was intentional to contrast with the more serious themes of self-discovery.
