The way the supernatural elements interacted with the characters felt so vivid. I wonder if that was Heather Graham's intention, or did the ghosts take on a life of their own?

The atmospheric location added so much to the suspense and mood. I'm curious whether the setting was inspired by a real place or entirely fictional.
