The atmosphere really drew me in, but I wonder if the author aimed to mirror the characters' inner turmoil or had a different intention in mind.

It seemed almost too easy for secrets to come to light, which made me question how realistic that level of suspicion is in real life.

The pacing kept me guessing, but I’m curious whether the twists were mapped out from the start or developed organically.
