The emotional weight was intense, especially during the war scenes. I’m curious if that was intentional to reflect the chaos of the times or a personal choice by the author.

It’s a setting I wasn’t very familiar with, and the personal perspective made it so vivid. I wonder what drew Sara Nović to tell this particular story.
