The shifting viewpoints added layers to the mystery, but I wonder if that was planned from the beginning or developed later in writing.

The characters felt so real, but their secrets and choices made me unsure whether I should root for them or not.

The atmosphere felt richly textured—was this based on a real place or purely imagined to enhance the story's mood?
