The story seamlessly intertwines intense mystery with emotional relationships. I'm curious how the author approached blending these genres without one overshadowing the other.

I loved learning more about the detective's past, but the story felt a bit sluggish at times. Was that intentional to build character depth or just pacing?

The setting added so much atmosphere to the mystery. I wonder if real places inspired this or if it was purely fictional world-building.
