It kept me guessing about who to trust, but I'm curious if this was a conscious choice or evolved during writing. How did that influence the story's tension?

The story was intense, but the rapid developments made it hard to keep up at times. Was that intentional to heighten suspense or just my reading speed?

Switching viewpoints added layers to the story, but I wonder if it was planned from the start or developed as a way to deepen the mystery.
