The setting feels so immersive and layered — I wonder if there was a specific inspiration or if it evolved naturally during writing.

It added so much depth but also made me curious about how much of it was planned from the start versus developed as the story progressed.

It made me think about how much control we really have over our lives. Would love to hear others’ thoughts.
