The book is packed with fierce chemistry, but I'm curious about what motivated the author to explore these themes so boldly.

The characters' vulnerability made me root for them, but I wonder if that was part of the plan or a happy accident.

The book is definitely hot, but I was surprised by how much depth there was behind the heat. Was that a conscious choice?
