Widow Lake

The isolated lake community adds so much to the suspense. I'm curious whether the author based it on a real place or created it from imagination.

The story felt like it was building up to something big, but the slower sections made me wonder if that was intentional for character development.

It added emotional depth but also made me question how grief influences perception and trust. I wonder what inspired that connection.
