The setting feels so authentic and inviting, but I wondered if that was the starting point or something that developed during writing. Did the town come to life spontaneously?

The characters' relationships and growth added depth beyond the mystery. I’d love to hear if others found themselves rooting for them, especially in their vulnerable moments.
