The story ramped up again near the end, but I found myself wondering if the slower sections were intentional to deepen the mystery or just pacing issues.

It kept the story feeling tense and uncertain, but I wonder how different it might have been if the aliens' nature was more explicit. Did it enhance or detract from the suspense?

Switching between characters added layers of complexity, but I’m curious whether that was planned from the start or developed during writing to keep the reader guessing.
