The dragons in this book feel so nuanced and integral to the story. I wonder if the author drew from myth, personal imagination, or D&D lore when shaping them.

The detailed setting really pulled me in, but I sometimes found myself more interested in the lore than the character interactions. Was that intentional?

The pacing felt well-managed, but I’m curious whether the shifts between battles and diplomacy were planned or evolved during writing.
