The alien technology and tactics felt so vivid and believable. I'm curious whether the author drew from real science or pure imagination, and how much research went into crafting the alien threats.

The last few battles and decisions came so rapidly that I had to re-read certain parts. Was this rushed or was it meant to heighten the adrenaline rush?

There were moments where the focus on tactics overshadowed emotional depth, but other scenes felt very personal. I wonder how the writing process managed these different priorities.
