Selección de poemas (1925-1952)

Many poems evoke the landscapes and political climate of Chile. I wonder how much of his homeland shaped his poetic voice and themes.

The emotional range is so broad—sometimes tender, other times somber. It made me curious whether Neruda intentionally contrasted these moods or if they reflected different phases of his life.

As a 'selected poems' volume, I wonder how the editor chose which pieces to highlight and whether some personal favorites were left out.
