The environment feels so vivid and integral to the characters' journeys. I wonder if the author drew from personal experiences or chose it to enhance the emotional landscape.

His decisions seemed complicated and made me question what I would do in his place. It’s rare for a character to feel so real that I couldn’t easily judge them.

The pacing kept me hooked, but I’m curious whether this was a conscious choice or something that evolved during writing. It felt just right for me.
