Seeing the story through Mary’s eyes added depth and tension, but I wonder if that was a conscious decision from the start or evolved during writing.

The story moved so quickly that I almost couldn’t catch my breath. I’m curious if that was a deliberate style choice to heighten tension.

The plot kept me hooked, but I was wondering how the author approached giving characters depth amidst the fast-paced thriller.
