The atmospheric backdrop adds so much to the story’s tension. I'm curious whether the author drew from real places or created it entirely from imagination.

I found myself wanting more action, but I wonder if the slower moments were intentional to deepen the characters and setting.

Balancing the mystery with character development can be tricky — I’d love to know what led to focusing on both equally.
