The mix of paranormal elements with a suspenseful plot felt fresh. I'm curious what inspired the choice to combine these genres in a YA setting.

The way envy drives the characters' actions made me wonder if that was intentional — to show how destructive these feelings can be.

Every detail about the paranormal was so vivid; I’d love to know if the author mapped out the lore beforehand or if it grew during writing.
