Deep Freeze

The cold, remote environment adds so much to the suspense, but I wonder if the author based it on a real place or just imagined it to heighten tension.

The story's tension was high, but some chapters felt a bit slow. Was that intentional to build atmosphere, or could it have been tighter?

The balance between revealing just enough and keeping us guessing is so tricky. I wonder what guided those choices in crafting the suspense.
