Dark Currents

The setting feels so rich and immersive — I wonder if Lindsay Buroker drew from existing mythologies or crafted everything from scratch. It really adds depth to the story.

The story introduced a lot of new elements and characters, which made me curious if that was planned to build suspense or if it was just natural storytelling flow.

There were moments where the plot kept me guessing, but also some slower, introspective scenes. Did this mix make the story more engaging or did it drag for others?
