The slow reveal kept me guessing, but I wonder if the author planned this tension from the start or if it evolved during writing.

Her perceptions seemed unreliable at times, which made me question how much of the story was her interpretation versus reality.

The story kept me on edge but also made me feel for the characters' personal struggles. Was this balance intentional to evoke empathy alongside tension?
