The city’s unique landscape and history seem to add a lot to the mood. I’m curious whether the author based it on personal experience or research.

The way the characters’ minds unravel kept me hooked, but also made me uneasy. Did you think the author was intentionally blurring the line between protagonist and antagonist?

The layered storytelling added complexity and suspense. I wonder if this structure was planned from the start or evolved during writing.
