Ciudad negra

The setting feels so alive and almost like a person itself. I'm curious if the author based it on a real place or crafted it entirely from imagination.

The buildup was intense, but the middle chapters seemed a bit slower. I wonder if it was a deliberate choice to build tension or just my reading experience.

The plot kept me guessing, but I also loved getting to know the characters deeply. I'm interested in how that balance was approached during writing.
