Harold Bloom
Harold Bloom was an American literary critic known for his analyses of Shakespeare, Harper Lee's To Kill a Mockingbird, and Kurt Vonnegut's Cat's Cradle. He wrote over 50 books, including How to Read and Why, and championed the traditional Western literary canon. Bloom held the Sterling Professorship at Yale University and was elected to the American Philosophical Society in 1995.
