The emotional weight was intense, but I kept wondering how much of their pain was amplified by the surreal elements. Am I the only one who felt this tug-of-war between empathy and discomfort?

The subtle fantastical touches felt so integrated and purposeful. I wonder if these elements were meant to symbolize something about memory or perception.
