The sense of place really enhances the story’s atmosphere — I wonder what inspired the choice of Ireland as the backdrop and how much of the setting was based on real locations.

The characters’ decisions often blurred right and wrong, which made me question what I would do in their situation. Am I the only one who found themselves sympathizing with both sides?

The pacing of revelations kept me hooked, but I’m curious whether this structure was planned from the start or evolved during the writing process.
