The atmospheric university environment really drew me in, but I'm curious whether the author based it on a real place or crafted it entirely from imagination.

The characters' actions are so morally complex that I kept questioning whether I was supporting their decisions or feeling conflicted about them.

I appreciated the slow burn, but I wonder if the author aimed to create a particular mood or if it was just how the plot unfolded naturally.
