The humor is so playful and exaggerated — I wonder what inspired the kind of mischief the Twits get up to and how Dahl kept it funny without crossing into mean-spiritedness.

Their constant teasing is hilarious but also a bit over-the-top. I’m curious if others saw them as purely wicked or if there’s a deeper message about kindness.
