The story moves quickly with plenty of battles, but I felt attached to the characters — I wonder how the pacing was planned to keep both engaging.

The human side gets a lot of focus, but the alien powers seem intriguing — I’d love to hear if others wished for more depth in the extraterrestrial elements.

It’s a popular trope now, but I’m curious whether the author had a specific inspiration or message behind framing the narrative around these young heroes.
