The setting feels so immersive and cold — I wonder what inspired the vivid descriptions of the Scandinavian landscape and mood.

The story seemed to take a breather before ramping up again, which made me curious if that was a deliberate choice to build tension.

It added depth but also made me wonder how much of that was planned from the start versus evolving during writing.
