The details about the different factions and magic systems really pulled me in. I wonder how much of it was planned out beforehand versus developed during writing.

His internal struggles felt very real, but I’m curious whether this was based on personal experiences or a deliberate narrative choice.

I found myself wanting more action, but I also appreciated the moments of reflection. Did others feel the balance worked well or could it have been tighter?
