The power play and chemistry felt so visceral; I'm curious whether this was inspired by personal experiences or a desire to explore taboo themes.

I loved how detailed the society and hierarchy were, but I wonder how much of it was planned versus evolving during writing.

The narration added so much emotion, but I’m curious if the author considered other formats or if the audio version was always the plan.
