Fudge's antics are both funny and relatable, but I wonder what inspired his personality and how Blume balanced humor with genuine emotion.

The story captures those small moments of sibling rivalry and innocence so perfectly. It made me think back to my own childhood experiences.

Seeing Fudge through Peter’s eyes gives the story a particular humor and honesty. I’m curious if the choice to focus on Peter was deliberate from the start.
