The book feels very timely with its themes of espionage and national security. I'm curious if recent events influenced the story or if it was purely fictional from the start.

The story kept me on the edge of my seat, but I wondered if the nonstop action was planned to create that sense of urgency or if it evolved during writing.

The character navigates complex ethical choices, which made me think about how much of that was inspired by real-world dilemmas or just a storytelling device.
