The framing of the story through a series of discussions feels unique and layered. I wonder if this was inspired by actual literary salons or a creative choice to reflect multiple perspectives.

The depiction of the city as a backdrop added depth, but also made me question how much of it is based on real places versus Spark’s imagination. Was this intentional?

With its focus on identity and social masks, I’m curious whether Spark was commenting on the nature of truth or the performative aspects of society.
