The push and pull between the boss and the employee created such a charged atmosphere. Did that aspect make the story more believable or uncomfortable for others?

The boss character exudes confidence but also vulnerability. I wonder what inspired the author to balance those traits in this way.

The back-and-forth kept me hooked, but sometimes I wondered if the characters’ animosity was a bit over the top. Did others feel the same?
