The mix of comedy and paranormal themes made the story unique, but I'm curious whether it was a conscious choice or evolved naturally during writing.

The depiction of death had a dark edge but also moments of levity. I wonder if the author aimed for a balanced view or if that contrast was just a happy accident.

The humor keeps things light even when dealing with heavy topics, but does it also diminish the impact of certain moments for some readers?
