The slow reveal kept me guessing, but I wonder if it was a conscious decision to build suspense or if it evolved during writing.

The story picked up again near the end, but I found the slower parts made me lose momentum. Was that intentional to build tension?

The small-town atmosphere added a layer of claustrophobia and secrets. I’d love to hear if the setting was inspired by a real place or purely fictional.
