The isolated location adds so much to the suspense—I'm curious if the author based it on a real place or created it from imagination.

I found myself wanting more urgency, but maybe that was part of the psychological game the author was playing.

The layers of deception made me question what was real—was it all in the characters' minds or was something more sinister at play?
